Genting Highlands - Fun City Above the Cloud

I have been visiting Genting Highlands since 2008, and it has been a yearly affair. I practically know where are all the restaurants, theme parks' stations, and indoor activities by my finger tips. That is also the reason why I have decided to stop going as I'm simply too bored.

The main attraction is needless to say, casino. This is the only casino in Malaysia, and thousands of tourists or I should say gamblers who are regulars always go there at least once every year. As I don't gamble, all I could do is to visit their theme park. Having tried out both indoor and outdoor ones, there is nothing left for me to explore. Furthermore, its theme park has shut down, and in the midst of rebuilding a new one.

Do stay at Resort Hotel http://www.rwgenting.com.sg/en/accommodation/resort_hotel when you visit Genting Highlands. Their deluxe room comes with two double beds, so you can share with another couple. Nice view of theme park as well (hmm.. used to be).

There are a lot of activities to be done actually. From snooker, bowling, cinema, indoor sky diving to indoor rock climbing. Not to forget a haunted house (which I did not dare to go till today), and Ripley's Believe it or not.

One thing I like about Genting is the weather whereby it is cooling all the time. However, during year end it can be quite cold as it gets windy. Thanks to the weather, I can enjoy playing rides at theme parks.

Remember to try out seafood or zi char at Mushroom Farm restaurant. Just wait in front of First World Hotel's lobby, it is actually at car drop off point. Look out for van or car plate no. 9100, and walk towards the driver. Tell the driver you want to go to Mushroom Farm, you get free shuttle service.
